vi.log, nano and general updates

2019. 05. 01. 12:00 | \English \WIP \blog \vi.log

Recently most of my work was either on vi.log or stuff connected to vi.log. But why would I work on something that literally no one reads?

Also I just updated to nano 4.2 and it's great :D

(Originally without date, guessed estimate is now shown.)

vi.log is an interesting piece of writing: it not only has a unique structure, but also enables me to do what I really want without breaking the overall flow of it; I am able to write whatever I want, whenever I want. Of course, the format is still saint and unbreakable, I mast accomodate to that, but luckily, I made that format. It's not too hard to follow this way. It even allows me to make tiny references to more technical stuff than I would usually able to (yes, "atto" is an editor).

Naturally, I had a plan, a course of action that should take place in it. Although this is still valid, it also got expanded rather quickly and become part of a universe, instead of creating its own (it's debatable though: even I am unsure whether it's part of the ***** ***** universe, or just inspired by it). I have changed most of the direct connections of course (meaning mostly names -- dates are pretty close) for the case I'd want some more liberty during writing.

Lastly, a completely different topic: about 1 week ago I wrote a lengthy post that was a status update and a teaser for future projects. Too bad that I did not copy the text from the admin page and it signed me off due to "inactivity" (i.e. I loaded the page too long ago without saving), so my work has been lost. At least it gave me the inspiration to write another lengthy post instead (which would be this one). I remember to my mistakes and that's why I'm writing it in my favorite text editor that I configured as I like, and now that I finish, I just copy-paste the text. Good to have a brain when needed, right? Sometimes I use it too.

PS: None of the new projects from that forementioned post has been stated so far.

PS2: This post took 5 hours to make; 20 minutes for the first part and another 10 to finish it 4.5 hours later. Told you I learn from my mistakes.

UPDATE: I don't remember the original date of it, so I'll guess and write May 1th.
